How It Started
Founded on a Handshake, Built on Results.
Build It was founded in 2009 by Marcus Webb, a third-generation tradesman who had spent over a decade watching homeowners get let down by contractors who over-promised, underdelivered, and vanished when problems arose.
He started Build It with one truck, two apprentices, and a rule that has never changed: never take on a job you cannot finish with pride. What began as a small residential repair service has grown into a full-service renovation company, trusted by over 1,200 families across the region.

Founded
Marcus launched Build It with a single crew, a van, and a commitment to doing things right.
2013
First 100 Projects
Four years in, word-of-mouth growth led to our 100th completed project. 96 of those clients said they would recommend us.
2018
Full Renovation Services
Expanded from repairs into full kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor renovation services. The team grew to 14 licensed tradespeople.
